Secondly, in order to make money at affiliate sales, you need to actually work it. The biggest mistake affiliates make is to place copy on their website, and assume "They will come." A few small changes can make the difference between no sales, and exploding sales!
Tips:
*Solo mailings result in much larger numbers of buyers. I know a lot of you are hesitant to use solo mailings for fear of losing subscribers, and that is a personal decision. In my experience, few people mind those mailings if they are quality products well targeted to them, and if you don't fill their mailbox three times a week! I send out solo mailings twice a month, and it's made the difference between no sales at all, and hundreds of dollars.
* If your readers trust you, and let's hope they do :) ...you can generate sales based on your endorsement.
*Don't give up with one mailing. Statistics show it sometimes takes 6 or 7 viewings of an ad or endorsement before a customer buys. If one technique doesn't work, try another!
*Don't just expect a clickable image of the book on your page to sell. Tell your readers about it, use the text from my sales page, and let them know you really believe in this product!
