These photos are from Samantha, of a redo of her daughters bedroom. Below is her description of what she did. Great job!

otal cost of the room was less than $35.

I bought butterflies from Wal-Mart's craft department in packs of three for $1.00.  I hung six of them over her bed so that while she drifts off to sleep she sees the butterflies fluttering overhead.  We also did a pink cloud effect on the ceiling by using the same color paint we used on the wall.  One other thing that I did was by some scrap wallpaper border at a discount wallpaper store for $1.  There was not enough to border her walls, so I cut the butterflies out and pasted them to various things in her room including the ceiling fan blades.  Where her name appears above the door, I purchased the letters for $1 each and painted them myself.  Most of the toys on the shelves were mine when I was a child.  The rest are ones she's collected so far.
Teresa submitted these stair risers...how cool!

Here is a picture of some stair risers that I covered with textured wallpaper border...I glazed the fronts with Ralph Lauren oyster glaze....they have been there for 4 years and still look great!! LOVE YOUR SITE!
