We here at TBD are in love with ‘Ana White’… She has the best free woodworking projects and plans (at her site) on the planet. And now she stars in the HGTV series ‘Saving Alaska‘. Here is the tutorial for her DIY pallet wall as seen on the show. In our opinion, there is not a single room on earth that would not look amazing with this wood wall treatment. Do you not love the shelves with the candles?

One of our favorite designers at HGTV is Brian Patrick Flynn. Tired of those same old succulent frames you see on Pinterest? His DIY cut out vertical garden is perfection.

This one is so simple you don’t even need a tutorial. From designer Tara Benet at ‘HGTV’, try your hand at a bold abstract painting in their post, “1 Can of Paint, 50 New DIY Projects“. LOVE that color! Going to recreate this for my office!

This DIY potting bench made from a thrift store dresser is full of charm, and yet really efficient for anyone who loves to garden.

Another paint project, these DIY gold dipped vases could be made with any kind of vase, even dollar store! So elegant and glam, yet simple.  From ‘HGTV Magazine’.

Ok, if I could hang this DIY hanging bed in a forested spot, strung between trees with just a peek of the clouds and the blue sky… ah, heaven. Or on a deck, whatever. You. Can. Make. This.

We LOVE vertical gardening. And not just for small spaces, although they are perfect for that too. There is something about bringing living plants to eye level, either for privacy or just for beauty’s sake. Make this pocket vertical garden and fill a whole wall with them!

This DIY monogrammed doormat is a great project. It’s simple, fast, inexpensive… and it would fit with any decor. Oh and it’s my initial!

Family fun, anyone? This DIY outdoor movie screen could be the best thing you do this summer.

This DIY kitchen island was made from an old console table. I see these kinds of tables at yard sales all the time. Lots of great tips on how to make this an efficient storage piece too! Have you tried one of these projects yet?
