I love a romantic bedroom… you know, those dreamy spaces that make you want to spend all evening snuggled up under luxurious covers eating Belgian chocolates and drinking good red wine? Or perhaps just sleeping in on a Saturday, waking up to a refreshing and happy space? Well, time to start working on it, ’cause we’ve got the projects for just such a room! It doesn’t matter if it’s Valentine’s Day, your anniversary, or the third Sunday in September, it’s always a good time for all things romantic! Our featured project above, is from ‘Nest of Posies’… see further below in the post for the complete link to the instructions.

I’m going to start with this master bedroom reveal by Becky at ‘Buckets of Burlap’… First of all, A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. Becky’s blog is packed full of this romantic, rustic style that makes my heart happy! Her bedroom reveal is packed with romantic little touches, from the chipped paint to the old barn wood and the straw hat! There are quite a few DIY projects in this room… Becky tells you how her husband made the barn wood headboard, love the old vintage door frame against the wall, and the details in the curtain tiebacks… All great projects! Wanna know my fav part of the room? The linens. Those creamy white, amazing linens that bring the “ahhhh” to the room, and contrast so great with all the details. If you love this room,  her blog is worth jumping right over to, and check out all kinds of inspirational photos there!

I don’t usually love things that are too cute, but romantic cute? This spooning art project by Vivienne at ‘The V Spot’ is a project with just the right amount! Easy directions, fun project… Gift idea?

This sign project isn’t a DIY tutorial… it’s for sale on Etsy at ‘Gingerbread Romantic‘, and I think it’s priced perfectly to build an entire romantic theme around. Sometimes all it takes is one great decor item! However, can you DIY a hand painted sign? Yep! (She has a bunch of other romantic signs to choose from too!)

Romantic Bedroom Projects

No romantic bedroom is complete without a canopy bed, but come on… that’s expensive! Corey at ‘Sawdust 2 Stitches‘ made this DIY pvc canopy bed that looks amazing!

From ‘Nest of Posies‘, this “All My Love” pillow project is a perfect blend of lovely and minimal for me. I love the texture of the fabric on that romantic bed, nice contrasts!

What’s more romantic than your wedding? ‘The Humble Home’ shows us how to reproduce our wedding song onto wall art… If you aren’t married or don’t have a song, how about the words to a romantic poem, or a love letter?

From ‘Green Wedding Shoes’, nothing is more romantic than your heart! This DIY string heart could be done in any color, and the tutorial makes it look like fun, too! I’m seeing a lot of string art on Pinterest lately, it’s on trend!

Few fabrics are as sensual and romantic as velvet… and this DIY turquoise tufted headboard from ‘Schue Love’ is the epitome of romantic. This looks so luxe!

Need some accessories with some romantic charm? ‘Create and Babble’ took this ugly, thrift store jewelry box…

And turned it into this DIY vintage love letter box! I love that she has actual love letters to put it in from her husbands Grandparents! We should all take the time to write a love letter now and then…

Finally, a quick romantic refresh for the bedroom by ‘The DIY Mommy‘… She made these simple pillows for the bed from lace she found at a thrift store!

On one of the bedrooms that you did you have a white comforter with roses all over it ! I love it so much and I have to find out where you got it back because I need one really bad!
I’m kind of new on this Pinterest thing I don’t know how this really works I hope you get this I pinned the bedroom that you did with that comforter in it it’s shabby chic white and has three rows of like roses in the middle of it I don’t really know how else to explain it except for that I really love it and I need one
