More than just a repaint and new knobs, these dresser ideas show you how creative bloggers can take a simple piece of furniture, and turn it into a unique piece! Yea. I know. These are totally cool, and totally doable. It’s a Goodwill day for me!

Repurposed Dresser Ideas

‘My Repurposed Life‘ did just that… she repurposed a dresser into an awesome hallway table! This looks like something you could get at Pottery Barn, and she started with an old dresser and a great idea. Lots of photos and can we just say, that color? Gotta love Navy blue with gold!

Ok, this is awesome. ‘Lovely Etc.‘ took a dresser and repurposed it into a bathroom vanity! This is stunning, and has such character! You don’t need to use an old dresser for this idea either. You would still add personality and save money even if you bought a new piece for this vanity project.

Have an old dresser but it isn’t sturdy enough to repurpose? Turn the drawers into this adorable dog bed with this tutorial from ‘DIY Showoff‘! This is a brilliant idea to upcycle what you can save from your thrift store dresser. Would work as a cat bed too, BTW!

Can you believe this old dresser idea? ‘Kenya Rae‘ repurposed her piece into this lovely buffet for her dining room. It has storage, and is a stylish piece that no one would believe was a throw away. Check out her instructions for making your own.

‘HGTV‘ took an old dresser and repurposed it into gorgeous living room storage. They used it for board games, but you could even use this as a sideboard in your dining space. They walk you through it step by step. Lots of reward for a little elbow grease! That color is life changing!

Corey at ‘Sawdust 2 Stitches‘ knows how to make repurposed furniture, and nothing scares her. Check out her tutorial on how she took this $5 garage sale dresser, and turned it into this amazing DIY apothecary cabinet. Her photos take you through step by step on how she did it. This looks like an expensive piece from RH or PB to me… LOVE!
