Steve and I recently designed and styled our new condo in Seattle in a really cool modern Boho style. We are loving the minimal meets maximalist vibes! To us, this is the perfect combination of the Bohemian influence with a calming effect from the modern lines and simple color choices in the room. It is full of plants, comfort, and pretty things, but still feels relaxing. But when we started designing this space we needed to find some new furniture at a reasonable price point to give the space that modern, high end feel we were craving. (Without the high end price tag!) We saw that famous designers like Emily Henderson recommend Article Furniture, so we reached out to them and found the perfect, and we mean perfect, bedroom furniture for our style. We loved their 30 day return policy, their free shipping deal, and especially the white glove service they offered. It is a really reasonable price to have your furniture delivered and assembled right in the rooms! But mostly, we loved all the amazing reviews we were reading from tons of stylists, designers and bloggers that we really respected. So let’s check out our Bohemian bedroom reveal! (BTW, if you missed the living room post, find it here.)

Bohemian Bedroom Reveal with Article Furniture
We really love Boho modern, and we decided to keep the colors and details a little more minimal in the bedroom than we did in the living room to make it a more peaceful place to sleep. So we used blush peach, white, gray and just a few pops of color. The focal point of the room is of course the amazing modern Tessu Bed in Glaze Gray. The linen look fabric looked expensive (but wasn’t!) and the lines of this bed are awesome sauce, my friends. You don’t need a box spring for this bed, we placed our memory foam mattress right on the slats. It comes in two colors, and also in King. You can’t see the solid wood feet in the photos, but trust us… no cheap metal feet to mess up your carpet or to kick in the middle of the night here.
I am a big “reading in bed” kinda girl, so wall lamps were a must. And these Cado Copper Sconce Lamps from Article furniture are everything. Totally obsessed with these. They make a statement, adjust well, and are super pretty. Don’t they just add that touch of glam every bedroom needs? Another thing we love about them is that they are well sized, so they don’t get lost in the design. This is not a large room, in fact, it’s pretty tiny, but these look in perfect scale to the bed, and provide plenty of lighting for those “I have to read Jane Eyre just one more time” kind of nights. These run at just $169 and are worth every penny.
This Feast Dining Chair in Coral is obviously not being used as a dining chair. But when I first saw it and this color, it became the inspiration for the entire Bohemian bedroom color scheme. I had to have this chair. Now after having had it for awhile, I want to order 4 more for the dining table! Comfy with a tweed like fabric, this has a steel frame and solid walnut legs so it will last. And, it comes in six colors. I have my eye on the Twilight Blue for next time! Did we mention it’s comfy? Goes to show sometimes inspiration comes from just one piece.
We are in love with Article Furniture, and hope to have lots more of it in the Palm Springs house!
