A really cool coffee table can cover up a whole multitude of family room decorating duds… It becomes the focal point of the room, and takes the attention off less amazing pieces of furniture. How do you get a really cool coffee table without spending big bucks? Do it yourself cool coffee table tutorials from these amazing bloggers! So let’s get started! Oh, btw, you can have a really cool coffee table even if you already have amazing furniture too. Can you get too amazing? :) Our feature project below, is a coffee table suitcase DIY by ‘The Ruche Blog’. Lot’s of step by step photos for this easy project, even for beginners! This is clever up-cycling!

Do It Yourself Cool Coffee Tables

While we are on the subject of up-cycling, I really love this DIY pallet coffee table with hairpin legs. (I love most things with hairpin legs, but this is cool!) This is another project suited for beginners, and photos show you how to attach the legs, from ‘Homedit’.

This crate storage coffee table from ‘Ryobi Nation’ is great for families. The crates pull out like drawers, and would be perfect for toys, crafts, etc…

This DIY farmhouse coffee table looks like it would last forever, and it’s gorgeous to boot! Check out the tutorial from Liz at ‘Love Grows Wild’.

From Emma at ‘A Beautiful Mess’, this DIY wooden coffee table is way cool. Just 2×4’s and hairpin legs! Love this!

Do It Yourself Cool Coffee Tables

Rita and Cane from ‘This Sorta Old Life’ got inspired to make this salvaged door coffee table by a Pinterest pin, and then went about creating a detailed tutorial so you can do it too!

Jen at ‘City Farmhouse’ made this Ikea hacked barnyard coffee table that looks like a much more expensive piece than it is! Lot’s of step by step photos.

This DIY Ikea hack marble coffee table via ‘Poppytalk’ is a good example of making a budget project just look expensive!

The last one we have for you is inspirational… From ‘Oh Glory Vintage‘ this reclaimed window coffee table could probably be made in the same way as the salvaged door table project above.
