Got makeup? Then you have clutter, period. The fact is, I’m a bit of a beauty product junkie. Makeup is not something I need more of! But I also want to have a clutter free bathroom, and I don’t want to spend an amount equal to my monthly cell phone bill to buy cute little storage systems. I just don’t. With me? Thought so… So here we have it, great budget makeup storage ideas any of you can use to put it all in it’s place, and keep your money in your pocket.

Check out this cute way to reuse shopping boxes from ‘Peachfizz‘… Don’t these look like those expensive storage boxes from Kate Spade, or other upscale shops? She gives really good step by step instructions, with photos… Pretty and on a budget, and recycling!

‘Irina’s Cute Box’ shows you this really simple DIY makeup brush organizer project from a sushi mat! I’ve seen these at my ‘Dollar Tree’! I like this because it has a modern flare to it, but also protects the brushed a bit more than a fabric roll might.

‘Life Ann Style’ created this DIY repurposed candle jar storage with a little glue… and of course, old candle jars! She even gives great tips for getting all the residue off the jars. She uses these both on their sides, in a pyramid, and as simple storage jars. Love! So easy!

This Ikea hack DIY rolling vanity is an easy and perfect makeup storage project from Melissa at ‘The Polka Dot Chair’. This would also be great if you have several teenagers sharing a bathroom… Need I say more?

This is a simple idea from ‘Jessica’ on Pinterest… Using glass containers, dollar store candleholders and glue to make apothecary jars! I recommend a glue called E-6000 found at craft stores.

This project is a jar storage system by Hannah from ‘Quite Quaint‘.

Budget Makeup Storage Ideas

Laura at ‘My Newest Addiction‘ found a way to make an Ikea dupe with a Michael’s drawer system. Oh my… how much could I fit in here? She has lot’s of information on how to find it, and even some tips on putting it together! And also, BTW… tells us which palettes fit in which drawers. Palettes are getting to be a problem for me… :(

From Jennifer at ‘Pretty Little Details’, this DIY makeup palette is the perfect budget dupe for the expensive universal palettes, and the perfect solution for those of us who have individual powders floating around. BTW, you can break individual pans out of existing palettes, and create new ones using a palette cover like this! Didja know?

These wall pockets by ‘BHG” were created using dollar store wooden bowls cut in half, and painted boards. You could create a large wall system using this project!

Budget Makeup Storage Ideas

Lastly, if  you don’t want to DIY a thing, that’s ok too… we found this makeup storage system on Amazon for less than $25! And it’s on a lazy susan so it rotates!
